Ra one Boxoffice collections



 SharukhKhan’s Diwali flick RA one breaks all records in boxoffice, the sources says the film earned Rs 170 crore world wide in the opening weekend. The film is based on superhero and its getting mixed reviews. Eros International produced the movie with SRK’s Red chillies Entertainment.

The highly expected Diwali release rules at the box office with an amazing weekend gross collection of Rs. 137.25 crore in India and Rs. 32.75 crore overseas. Since its release, Ra.One has been creating history by crushing regional, national and international box office record after record with the biggest Diwali day opening followed by the biggest single day collections for an Indian film and now the biggest ever weekend release for both India and overseas box office.

Tamilnadu Local bodies Poll Status

The Tamil Nadu local body polls are finished finally with two phases October 17 and October 19.  The election has happened with so many complaints for misconduct in Chennai.  The poll is started with dull opening in Chennai and many places in the city where only few numbers of people line up to choose 200 councilors and one mayor. The second phase of the election was done quietly, excepting a few stray things.

Tamil Nadu elections commission said 68 % of votes are recorded in the local assembly elections. The final phase election enclosed over 65 corporations, 31 district panchayats, 270 town panchayats, 194 panchayat unions, 50 3rd grade municipalities and 12,000 village panchayats.

In Chennai about 45,000 people have a chance for vote directly to choose the mayor candidate, election booths in north Chennai areas did not impress for many voters and the polling started at 7 pm while where there were medium crowds at some polling booths. No violence was reported there.

In some booths were get complained there electronic voting machines not working. Former Home minister of Tamil Nadu M K Stalin complained about election commission that many booths have no video cameras, also he requested there to conduct re election.

Many voters complained about they did not get vote receipts, totally 80,000 polices allotted for election duty over Tamil Nadu. The local bodies tamilnadu election results will be announced tomorrow 21st October include all places in Tamilnadu.

Last two days ‘Bodhidharma’ is the hot searching topic in Google India, first of all who is this Bodhidharma? If you have watched the trailor of Actor Surya’s upcoming tamil movie Ezham arivu you must known about this character.
Actually the role of Bodhidharma is characterized from the real monk one who lived in 5th Century. Bodhidharma was born in the place Kanchipuram state of Tamil nadu. He was the third son of kantavarman in Pallava Embire.  Later he embraced Buddhism religion.

He have been visited so many countries that we can know it from his notes. He has visited south East Asia includes Indonesia, Java, Sumatra islands towards sea ways to spread his Buddhist policy.

World's cheapest tablet computer lauched by India



"Worlds cheapest tablet computer launched by India on wednesday for students at the inexpensive price of $35 and later to be sold in shops for cost $60"

In India most of the 1.2 billion people are underprivileged and they can not use products like Apple I pads, tablets are ahead of the reach even of many in the fast-developing middle class. The rich people can only to use the digital world; the poor and ordinary people have been barred. Aakash will conclude that digital split, says Kapil Sibal Minister of Telecoms and Education Department, India.

The Indian government is buying the initial units of the less weight touch-screen tablet, named Aakash that means SKY in Hindi for $50 each from a British company which is producing the web enabled devices in India. The new tablet device will support video conferencing technology; it has two USB ports and a three hour battery backup.

India has a position for making reasonably priced products that can be simple to use and strong enough to handle .Two years in enlargement, the book sized Aakash tablet may assist the government's aim to bring out the information technology in education, even though critics were uncertain of its mass appeal.
The Aakash is intended at university students for digital e learning through the government proposal that share out electronic books and courses.

The London based small company DataWind that developed the tablet with the IIT says Testing included running video for two hours in 48 degree Celsius temperatures to take off a northern Indian summer. The tablet has some many critics that all are welcomed the price of tablet as very cheap cost and that must be helpful for all people but most of them feels the device appeared very slow and the touch screen is not agile .

The executive editor of gadget reviewers BGR India Rajat Agrawal said “Because of the price there is a lot of excitement. People might use it at the start but if it is not user friendly they will give up within a week.

At the beginning the government plans to sell the tablet to students for 35$, afterwards they decided to sell it to people for 60$. People can get it in retail shops.CEO of DataWind Suneet Singh said the upcoming versions would contain a mobile phone facility and it must be more useful to the people in rural areas,  Aakash also includes the  Google Android operating system. We hope it could be more useful for students and middle class people.

Tamilnadu Local bodies Elections Announced


State Election Commission announced local polls Corporation, Municipal, panchayat elections in Tamil Nadu will be held two days on October 17th and 19th. The two phases of elections to be done, the 1st phase of elections will be held for 9 corporations, 60 municipalities, 259 town panchayats and 191 panchayat unions.

The 2nd phase of election includes 65 municipalities, 270 town panchayats and 194 panchayat unions will take the poll on October 19. They did not announce anything about Tiruchi Corporation.

Tamilnadu State election commissioner Mr.Ayyar said the model system of conduct came into result on Wednesday night and the nominations started on last Thursday 22nd september. The last date for nomination filed was last 29 September. The nomination withdrawal date was yesterday October 3.

The poll counts starts on October 21 after 2nd day of election and will be announced tamilnadu election results on same day, the local bodies representative meeting and swearing ceremony will be held on 25th October. And other indirect elections for panchayat union chairmen and vice-chairmen, district panchayat chairmen and vice chairmen, town panchayat vice presidents, deputy Mayors and deputy chairmen for municipalities swearing ceremony will take place on 29th October.

Electronic Voting machines to be used 1st time in local bodies polls for Panchayats, Municipalities and Municipal corporations in Tamilnadu says State election commissionor Mr.Ayyar.Also He said, two Voting machines to be placed in every election booth for the election of mayors and the municipalities chairmen and presidents of town panchayats and another for election of councilors. An additional significant feature was online preparation of electoral rolls.

In addition photo id cards, voters will get booth slips with their photos. The booth slips will be provided before a week of elections by government emloyees. If voters missed to get booth slips, they could be got it directly on nearer election booths.
